Food & Health training

Food requirements for bodybuilders or weight trainers are obviously different from those who are not weight training and focusing on muscle building. And it differs as well depending on what stage in weight training a bodybuilder is at and how old a bodybuilder is. However, a basic diet that everyone should follow includes a variety of foods. A bodybuilder will require more energy and protein sources, and should put a lot of care and thought into their menu, especially if training for a competition.

If you are a bodybuilder you may need more protein. This can be acquired through nutritional supplements, or by increasing the amount of protein sources in your diet. You might eat more: lean meat, eggs (egg whites), fish, beans, or poultry. Certain vegetables, such as corn, also contain some, but not all, of the essential amino acids. You should have a good protein source in each meal. Everyone needs a small amount of fat in his diet. While it is tempting for those trying to eat a healthy diet to cut out fats, in truth, a small amount of certain fats is a necessary component to a meal.

Food should be cooked, not processed. Any person trying to follow a healthy diet should avoid precooked or processed foods. Fresh vegetables, meats, and homemade sauces are healthier because they will contain less salt and fewer preservatives. Choose multigrain bread rather than white bread, olive oil rather than butter, and fish rather than steak to keep your diet healthy and prevent weight gain from fat.

Low in fat, a source of protein and high in essential minerals, mollusks can be a good addition to a bodybuilder diet. Three popular and nutritious mollusk choices are clams, oysters, and mussels. Clams are also an excellent source of vitamin B12 and copper. These three nutrients may help maintain good blood status for delivering oxygen to working muscles. Along with copper, mollusks are also rich in zinc and selenium. These minerals are necessary for the proper functioning of the body’s immune system and its antioxidant defenses.

I never forget my beloved grandmother’s famous quote which was “I’m irritated from the healthy foods since all the tasty ones are considered as the junk foods and all the disgusting ones are known as the healthy foods”. Honestly I do agree with her!!!

Food is the main thing that we should concern for being healthy. Once we have taken wrong, it will affect our health. Besides, the main thing that important for bodybuilding and dieting is perseverance. Without the patient or perseverance, it will be hard to sustain or reach what we want.

When everybody takes their food, they have different opinion. Some people like to take which healthy food, some people even do not care about it and some people stand in the middle (sometimes take healthy food and sometimes not, but concern about their health). And I more agree with the last type of people, in my opinion to do something over is not good so it is better for our life if when we consume our food we still concern about our health.

Healthy food is always a key to success for a perfect body. However, how many people do practice this? This is one area in fitness I seem to agree. Food! Eating healthy food will lead to a healthy lifestyle and it will soon become a norm.

We are all aware that engines perform well or poorly, depending upon the quality of the fuel used. well the same goes to the principle of eating good food , i agree with the article that food should be cooked not process the effect would be food poisoning. The symptoms of food poisoning commonly include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea and fever, though not all of these may occur in every case. Symptoms vary depending upon the cause. They usually start between one and 36 hours after eating the contaminated food, and may last for a number of days. Food poisoning may be fatal, depending upon the cause and the overall fitness of the sick person. If we don't take care of the food that we are eating and rather go out to the fast food joint to get our meal we might end up getting food poisoning and that is something nobody likes to have.

Eating healthy doesn't mean you completely stop eating fast food, no, it means controlling your nutrition. We need to eat to live, and to exercise to survive.

when i first joined Gym, my personal trainer have said that "you need to have 3 things in order to get fast results, they are: Proper Training, Having Enough Sleep and Consuming lots of Healthy FooD" if any of these three is not taken into consideration, believe it or not, working out would not be needed...

Can i start by saying Moderation is the Key to a anything. As we all should know excess in anything we take in is harm to our body.
What bodybuilders take in and what we take in is ofcourse different. Bodybuilders eat more amount of nutrients and consume alot of calories and minerals due to their large muscular bodies. We as normal as in natural bodies need to have better nutrition.

Healthy eating is not about strict nutrition philosophies, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, and keeping yourself as healthy as possible – all which can be achieved by learning some nutrition basics and incorporating them in a way that works for you.

Choose the types of foods that improve your health and avoid the types of foods that raise your risk for such illnesses as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Expand your range of healthy choices to include a variety of delicious foods. Learn to use guidelines and tips for creating and maintaining a satisfying, healthy diet.

Everybody say we have to eat healthy food because otherwise we are more susceptible of getting sick and be an unhealthy person, well that’s really true. To prevent illness, diseases, maintain our body functioning well and growing (older) we have to take care of ourselves and have a healthy eating. No one is born knowing everything so healthy eating is something we should learn as much as possible.
Healthy eating is important from the day we come to this world. A child needs good nutrients and to get that needs healthy food. Nutrients are essential in our daily life. They feed and build our bones, muscles, organs tissues; they promote the growth of the body in general. If, for some reason, a certain nutrient is not enough we can get a disease or other health problems, therefore, healthy eating is very important; very important not only while a child, but throughout the growing and aging process.
Nutrients are also important for our daily living because they provide us the energy we need to walk, talk, run and all the other action we perform. It is as if the nutrients rule our life: We need them to keep our body growing, healthy and functioning the right way. The lack of a nutrient can cause a hormonal problem or other body malfunctions.
Lastly, to prevent illness it is important that we eat healthy foods. When we don’t get the right and enough nutrients or our body’s natural defense system is weak, viruses and bacteria will attack the body. Without healthy foods and plenty of water, our bodies simply could not be functional on a day-to-day basis. Learning how to eat healthy foods is therefore an important lesson. A lesson we should begin learning from a very early age. If we get used to eat healthy foods we will be healthier and stronger.
